The Fundraiser

THE BIG GIG fundraiser event has been put together to help take Canterbury Girls Secondary College into the 21st Century with the building of a new state-of-the-art Performing Arts Centre to replace McMillan Hall.

The working title for the new centre is The GIG Centre – Girls Inspire Greatness hence THE BIG GIG.

We have developed an event with a difference. Our focus is on great food, good entertainment including our talented Stella Divas and Retro Runway – edgy fashion on the catwalk.

Fun for little kids – jump ‘n slide, the bungee challenge and bouncy boxing and for big kid – dad’s can show off their culinary skills in the Master Father Chef.

Join in the fun and help us build a better facility for our girls.
